There have been several stories on TV and the Internet about compressed air cars. The compressed air drive system is supposed to be simpler and lighter weight than a gas engine. The fuel source is also just compressed air in a light weight tank. Light weight cars with a large amounts power is what wins races. Therefore, how fast could a compressed air dragster go in a quarter mile? I won't believe in this technology until I see it win some races.
I don't see how this could possibly work.
How are you going to compress the air. A tank of compressed air does not last very long at all.
