Is a Lincoln Continental built on the Grand Marquis/Crown Vic frame?

I know the Town Car is the same as the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis, but I also like the Continental. You can't beat the quality and value of the Grand Marquis lineup.

The Continental is built on a stretched version of the old Taurus platform. Not only is front wheel drive, but is also unibody, unlike the rear wheel drive, body on frame Towncar.
